Believe it or not this Osprey photo is a single exposure HDR image. I decided to play around with this photo a little to see what kind of detail I was able to bring out. That’s one advantage of tone mapping a single exposure RAW file in Photomatix.
This Osprey was photographed this past Friday during a group photo outing with some local Florida photographers. We were pontooning around Blue Cypress Lake, mainly to scout out the area. I was very impressed by the scenery as well as the amount of Ospreys present. There were so many Ospreys flying around, I’m surprised the lake wasn’t named Osprey Lake instead.
