The first reaction I get from most people when they see a Wood Stork is usually one of disregard because of it’s ugly head. So in with this image I tried to pretty it up a little with a texture. Personally, these birds to me, have a lot of character. I don’t find them ugly at all, especially with an up close shot like this where you can see all detail and texture.
