Mosquito Lagoon Pine Trees in the Dark – Cape Canaveral, Florida

Mar 5, 2010 | Photo Art & Montage

Most of Florida is covered with these pine trees and there is plenty of them in Mosquito Lagoon. Since I’ve lived in Florida most my life this scene is rather generic to me. The challenge for me was to see beauty in everyday life. Especially in the things I take for granted. On a side note this HDR was shot in the dark, if you can believe that. Shutterspeed was very long for each exposure, about 30 seconds for 2 out of the 3 shots.

Processing Technique: 3 exposure HDR merged using [intlink id=”546″ type=”post”]Photomatix[/intlink]. Detail enhanced using [intlink id=”542″ type=”post”]Topaz Adjust[/intlink]. Noise removed by [intlink id=”542″ type=”post”]Topaz DeNoise[/intlink]. Image smoothed using [intlink id=”542″ type=”post”]Topaz Simplify[/intlink]. Photo processed with Photoshop CS4.
