Here’s the final HDR image from Photomatix Monday. The goal for this image was to present the photo as a memory. You know those old images that mom has stored up in the attic… something like that but with a more modern approach.
I used my Photoshop Action for this image but did something a little different. I reduced the file size to 2400 pixel wide, by doing this my PS Action produces a very unique look. I eventually resized it back to the original size once I was done processing. I do this to maintain a consistent image size for all my images.
I hope to have my Photoshop Action available next week. Somehow I got myself side tracked and started shooting birds. In a way it was a good thing, I was feeling a little burnt out from all my HDRing. I think one of the most difficult part of being an artist is fueling yourself to complete a project. Eventually your art suffers from too much driving so it’s good to take a break from traveling the same mundane road.
