Multipurpose Tractor from Thailand

Mar 15, 2011 | Travel & Culture

I was intrigued the first time I saw one of these tractors chugging along on the side of the road. What intrigued me was the different uses it had from transporting livestock and crops, as well as people, to plowing the land. In some cases I’ve seen it used as a water pump and generator. They aren’t fast but the versatility of these machines are incredible.

I’ve been waiting to get a decent shot of one of these tractor… got the opportunity while driving from the store on a scooter, of course I was the passenger sitting on the back seat. The sun setting added some nice color to the scene, much better than the everyday gray haze that covers the country most of the day. This is a single exposure HDR incase you were wondering.
