Storm Brewing Over Loxahatchee Slough Wetlands

Feb 17, 2012 | Florida Everglades & Wetlands

I thought it was going to be a pretty good sunset today but a storm rolled in at the last minute covering the sky with these dark gray clouds. I should have stayed home but I couldn’t sit in front of the computer any longer so I went venturing off with no real place in mind.

I ended up at the Loxahatchee Slough out west by Sandhill Crane Park. Not sure why I stopped there since everything was pretty much dead. I ended up getting this shot which doesn’t really do anything for me, but it was good enough to post.
