Mangroves from Lake Worth Lagoon at Munyon Island

I’ve said this before, mangroves are one of the hardest subjects to shoot. When you’re there, they look amazing, however these trees just don’t translate well into a photograph. I think this is due to a lack of color. That’s why when process these images I will almost always convert to black & white or duo tone.

Software I use for processing my photos:
Picasa – Free photo management program.
Photomatix – Used for creating high dynamic range.
Topaz Plugins – Photoshop enhancement plugin.
PS Elements – Used for post processing HDR images.
Lightroom – For adding the finishing touch.
