Mottled Duck Flying through Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge

Mar 24, 2012 | Animals & Wildlife, Florida Everglades & Wetlands

Thursday I went to a total of six parks to shoot birds. I manage to get about a dozen good shots of birds in flight from that all day excursion. This Mottled Duck flying through the air was shot at the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Reserve. Photo is a single exposure image tone mapped using Photomatix Pro to bring out detail and color.
