Hillsboro Lighthouse Sunrise Panorama from Pompano Beach Inlet Florida

Feb 14, 2012 | Lighthouses

I enjoy photographing lighthouses. Usually it takes me a few tries to get the perfect lighthouse photo for any lighthouse that I come across. However with the Hillsboro Lighthouse, this was my first time there and I think I nailed it with this shot.

Every lighthouse has something unique to offer in terms of a photograph. Shooting this lighthouse was a challenge because of the vantage point. I knew when i got to the shooting spot that I wanted to do a panorama, but only if the sunrise gave me something worth processing. On that day I couldn’t ask for anything better. It was perfect!
