I’ve ate rat before in the country out in Buriram, Thailand. However I have never eaten a rat in Cambodia. At first I was a little hesitant to try because rat has a very gamey taste where the meat seem raw no matter how well it’s cooked. I decided to give it a try just to see if there was a difference between rat from Thailand compared to Cambodia. I really like the smaller rats which tasted pretty good. However the bigger rats had that same gamey taste with a raw chewiness to the meat.<\/p>\n
