I found this cool tree over at Cape Yamu in Phuket, Thailand, which appears to be growing on a rock. This is a two composite HDR panorama processed in Photomatix and stitched together in Photoshop. I’m missing a lot of dynamic range in the highlights from me being lazy. Had I been paying attention I would have shot another set of exposures 4 stops under to get detail in the blown out areas. My main focus was on the tree and making sure I got the foreground detail so I wasn’t too worried about the highlights. Nevertheless I think it came out pretty good.
