The Boys Do the Dishes at Grandma’s

Apr 1, 2011 | Portraits & People, Travel & Culture

There’s a lot of mouths to feed at Grandma’s house so someone’s responsible for washing all the dishes… and that job is left for the boys. While the girls handle the cooking it’s up to the guys to scrub all the dishes, pots and pans on a daily basis. What amazes me is not that they wash the dishes but the fact that they do it when it’s time for the dishes to be washed. They don’t complain and no one has to tell them twice, unlike some of kids I know back home ;-)
