Early morning at Coral Cove Park watching the sea turtles and baby sea turtles craw off the beach on Jupiter Island. Was a very active morning today July 12, 2015 with all sorts of things going on. Ended up being an amazing morning for sunrise colors. But my focus this morning wasn’t the colors it was on the sea turtles. I saw one large Loggerhead Sea Turtle leaving the beaching and heading back to the ocean. I also saw one baby sea turtle making it’s way to the safety of the warm Florida waters. Watching from the distance was a hungry Night Heron. I also found a couple of dead bay sea turtles that didn’t make it.
