Sea Beast Large Tiger Shark at Thailand Aquarium

Mar 27, 2013 | Travel & Culture, Underwater Photography

I spent a few hours yesterday at the Siam Paragon Aquarium in downtown Bangkok, Thailand. Shooting in a aquarium can be difficult with the low light. I prefer to shoot without a flash so there’s no glare from the glass. This means I have to shoot at very high ISO so this image was shot at 6400.

This aquarium is pretty cool, a good way to waste some time if you have time to spare. Especially for a photographer since they have a good assortment of fishes to photograph. This large shark was found swimming while I walked through the underground glass tunnel.
