Royal Park Bridge at Sunset

Jan 27, 2011 | Bridges & Roads, Sunrises & Sunsets

This is an HDR shot of the Royal Park Bridge during sunset. In the background is the Downtown West Palm Beach area. In the foreground are some beautiful flowers that I wasn’t expecting to see. I definitely had to make them part of the scene somehow. After a few minutes of composing I found the best angle to included to sunset as well. The toughest part was avoiding the sun flares. The lens hood really helped but with the sun this intense there was no avoiding flares. The next best option is to place the sun flare somewhere easy to Photoshop out ;-) In this case it would be the waterway.
