Panoramic HDR from Mount God, Cambodia

Jul 29, 2010 | HDR Panoramas, Landscapes & Scenery, Travel & Culture

This image is not the most spectacular shot in my gallery but it does have meaning. If you look closely at the foot of this mountain there’s a small village. That village is where I was born. It’s funny how the villagers there seem to all remember me. I was less than three years old when my family left Cambodia to take refugee in Thailand. During that time the Khmer Rouge had taken over the government and was led by Pol Pot. For those who don’t know the history behind Pol Pots rule over Cambodia, I invite you to read more about it on Wikipedia.
