Pair of Great Blue Herons at Wetlands Doing Their Thang

Nov 27, 2012 | Animals & Wildlife

I took my nieces to Wakodahatchee this evening to see the birds and of course I get to photograph them while I’m there. While we were there we all got to see nature at it’s finest moment, lol. These two Blue Herons were getting it on when my niece popped the obvious question as to what they were doing. Well that’s not for me to say, she can learn about the birds and bees from her parents. I told them they were wrestling. Single exposure tone mapped in Photomatix for color and contrast. I use Topaz Denoise for removing noise at 1600ISO.
