Osprey from Jupiter Park

Jan 8, 2011 | Photo Art & Montage

Taking a little break from HDR to play around with this Osprey photo I shot the other day while at the Jupiter Inlet. I was surprised this photo came out so well considering the distance the Osprey was. I only snapped 2 shots before it flew off. Unfortunately the second image came out dark because I still had the camera on AEB for shooting HDR. But the first image was good enough.

The trick to getting the cool artistic effect was the use of Topaz Simplify. I used all the other Topaz Plugins also but Simplify had the biggest affect for creating the look that I wanted. Otherwise I didn’t do too much work, slapped a texture on top and it was good to go. Note I ran Topaz Simplify after adding the texture.
