Old Marina Shack at Dubois Park

May 24, 2011 | Lightning & Storms, Marinas & Boats

This is as abandoned as it gets here in South Florida. It’s too bad the county tore it down. There’s not a lot of these types of old grungy buildings around in this area. Sucks for me cause I’m tired of shooting the same beach scenes every morning.

I found this photo in my archives while going through some of my old storm photos. This is part of my “Chasing the Storm” series. When I’m done with the series, I plan on putting together a short e-book for it. It’ll be a free e-book so be sure you sign-up for the newsletter to get notified when it’s completed.

As for the HDR Portrait e-book that I’m still working on, it looks like I’ll be pushing the release date to June. The past week has been crazy because of the art show. This week I’ve been feeling a little ill so I’ve only been able to work on it one page at a time. The following week I’ll have even less time because of the studio. I get my key to the new place on the first of June, and it’s going to be hectic moving and getting everything set up!
