Captain’s Status – Ban Kruat, Thailand
I know… February’s newsletter is late, especially considering that February is the shortest month of the year. But as they say, “it’s better to be late than never.” I plan on keeping this one short as I have little time this month.
As most of you already know, I’ve been pretty busy the past 2 months, getting ready for this 50 day journey through Thailand’s countryside. Currently I’m in Ban Kruat… I really do like it out here compared to Bangkok, the slow pace suits me better.
The HDR photo below is from Grandma’s garden at her home in Ban Kruat, Thailand. This area is also known as Isan.

Here are three really cool shots that I couldn’t wait to post. I’ll do a separate post for each one later explaining how I processed them.

While Grandma’s gone, her vicious guard dog is out making sure no one gets in the garden.
Grandma says that when you see something as beautiful as this you know you are heading in the right direction.
New HDR Software Review for 2011 Coming Soon
While I’m out here in Thailand I plan on writing a new review of all the current top HDR programs that are available this year. This one will be a little more in-depth than my last HDR software review post, and will feature a separate post for each HDR application. I’m hoping to have it posted before I head back home to the states in April.
