Mangrove Tree by Munyon Island at Lake Worth Lagoon

Jul 17, 2011 | Black & White HDR, Floral Plants & Trees

Walking out here around Muyon Island during low tide was a breath of fresh air from the typical beach scenery that I’m accustom to photographing. Seeing all these mangrove trees and wandering through the muck made me feel like a kid again.

I remember my father taking my brother and I fishing here. We would follow behind carrying the fish that he caught. Those were the good old days that I will always cherish.

When you experience nature like this as a kid it’s unforgettable. I’m hoping this photo represent that same feeling, when you see something amazing for the first time.
