Looking Glass Falls North Carolina

Aug 8, 2011 | Rivers & Waterfalls

This is my first full waterfall shot from North Carolina trip. The name of this waterfall is Looking Glass Falls. My favorite of all the waterfalls because it was the easiest one to get to ;-)

All the other waterfalls require a 30 minute hike. Not that I’m lazy, but after spending an entire day walking to 5 or 6 falls carrying heavy photography gear, it was a pleasure to see one that require little effort. I still had to walk a few stairs for a better view but compared to all the other falls this one was well worth the short journey.
