Lightning Storm from Singer Island Beach

May 16, 2011 | Lightning & Storms

I was wrong when I said Singer Island was an uneventful place. Last night there was a lightning storm, mainly heat lightning, an the best place to view it was from Singer Island… go figure! Of all the shots this was my favorite, very colorful and dramatic.

This is a non-HDR photo with miner processing. I applied Topaz Denoise and Topaz Adjust to add a little pop to the image. Minus that and some cropping, this photo was straight from camera.
