Last night after sunset I decided to go photograph the Juno Pier during the blue hour. When I got there a lightning storm had brewed off the Atlantic Coast. Unfortunately I only had my 16mm wide angle lens which would have been okay if the lightning was closer. However the storm was at least 20 miles away so the lightning ended up looking tiny in comparison to the frame. But that actually worked out good because it allowed me to crop it wide for a panoramic view of the beach and ocean.
