Large Wave During Sunrise at Coral Cove Park

Jan 9, 2012 | Florida Beaches & Coasts

Here’s another image photographed using the Sony NEx-5 mirrorless camera. I’m still trying to get use to the controls. My biggest problem with this camera is having to go into the menu to adjust my settings, not really a big deal. But the most annoying part is that the NEX5 doesn’t have a viewfinder so I’m forced to use the LCD screen. Don’t get me wrong the LCD screen is amazing but I’ve come to realize how important the viewfinder is to a photographer. With the viewfinder the photographer uses their eyes to see the composition from what they see. With an LCD screen, the photographer uses their eyes to compose the image from the screen.
