Lake Worth Pier Moon Rise During Storm

Mar 8, 2012 | Moon and Lunar

I drove around all over Southern Palm Beach County looking for a clear sky to get a Full Moon shot. I ended up at the Lake Worth Fishing Pier but with no moon. I couldn’t win at this spot, the clouds kept moving at the same pace as the moon, keeping it covered up. This was the best I could do with the moon light glowing from behind the clouds. I eventually drove to Palm Beach Island where I got a clear shot but the moon was already to high for a Captain Kimo worthy photo.
