Sam’s Day, Jupiter Inlet Sunrise at Jetty

Feb 15, 2011 | Florida Beaches & Coasts, Sunrises & Sunsets

This photo was taken on February 10th which is my brother’s memorial day. Normally I don’t go into details about my personal  life, but his passing has had a tremendous affect  on me, as it would for anyone who has lost someone dear to them.

I feel as if I lived my life on the fast lane ever since that day that he passed away. It’s only been two years but it feels as if a decade went by within seconds, words can’t explain it. I think those who have lost a love one understand.

It’s like I’ve been living my life in a blur trying to forget those painful memories. The saddest  moments of my life that I wish I could forget. I never thought a memory could be so painful, even more so the good ones.

But in his passing I was truly able to see how delicate and short a life could be… too short to let it pass by. It’s unfortunate that my brother had to pass away for me to realize all this.
