Jupiter Inlet Park Road Under Moon Light

Jul 22, 2011 | Nighttime HDR, Single Exposure HDR

All the locals are familiar with this curvy road that leads into the Jupiter Inlet parking lot. This is the only road anywhere in Jupiter that is elevated and curves like this. It’s so unique I’m going to say you probably won’t find any road like this anywhere in Florida.

I shot this road at night under the moon light. To be honest I stole this shot from a friend. He shot this during the full moon using a long exposure as a car drove through the road leaving a cool red streak. I went back the night after to get something similar ;-)

This is a single exposure HDR tone mapped using Photomatix Pro. I blended the original exposure using Photoshop to bring back some clarity. I used curves and gradient map in Photoshop to give this photo some tones.
