I hope all of you had an enjoyable 2011 New Year experience. As for me, I kept it simple and watched the ball drop from the comfort of my lazyboy. But I did get up early this morning to start the year off right with a sunrise photo, Captain Kimo style.
This HDR photo, unlike my usual processing, was digitally blended in Photoshop using only 2 exposures. I normally use Photomatix to merge my HDR images but this time there was too much going on to get a decent quality HDR. Pigeons flying around and sprouting about on the ground with people moving and wave thrashing back and fourth makes it hard for any HDR program to make any sense of what’s going on!
This HDR photo doesn’t quite look like my other images, but I thought I would start 2011 off with some different ;-)
