Green Dragonfly from Phuket Thailand

Jul 20, 2010 | Animals & Wildlife

My HDR photos are created by using Photomatix Pro HDR software. I use Luminar NEO for photo editing. I also use Topaz Software for noise removal and sharpening. Affiliate links provided to support site.

This photo was inspired by Flickr friends; Juan and Melissa, who posted amazing shots of their own dragonflies. So today I decided to go out and shoot some of my own. It won’t be to hard to get a good shot since there are dozen of them flying around.

[ad#Google Adsense-3]About the photo: This is a non HDR photo, shot with my Canon Vixia HFS100 Camcorder. I did little editing on this photo, some minor adjustment to contrast and a 5% bump in color. Not bad for a camcorder!
