Full Moon Rising Over Beach Rocks During Crashing Waves

Apr 6, 2012 | Florida Beaches & Coasts

The full moon today wasn’t too spectacular or I should say my subject wasn’t. I had to merge multiple scenes to get this one image, which I try not to do, but I hiked far to get to this area and I didn’t want my time to be wasted. Once I had my final composite I tone mapped it using Photomatix Pro to get the rich blues. I might have salvaged today’s shoot with this image. But that all depends on how good my legs feel tomorrow morning!
