Florida Lightning Storm at Jupiter Beach Inlet Park

May 10, 2013 | Lightning & Storms

My HDR photos are created by using Photomatix Pro HDR software. I use Luminar NEO for photo editing. I also use Topaz Software for noise removal and sharpening. Affiliate links provided to support site.

Tonight I was blown away by the lightning storm that rolling in from the west over the Jupiter Inlet Beach Park. I was doing some fishing hoping for some Spanish Mackerel when the clouds started to roll in. I decided to give up fishing and shoot the storm. It started to rain so I left the camera on auto pilot hoping to get a good lightning bolt. This one I thought was completely blown out but when I played with the RAW file and did some tone mapping in Photomatix I was able to produce a decent shot.
