Fishing Boats at Old Marina – Clewiston, Florida

Jun 24, 2011 | Marinas & Boats

I felt like I was back in Bangkok for a brief moment while shooting this photo. It’s rare I see anything like this unless I travel into old Florida. And Clewiston is definitely one of the older towns located next to Okeechobee Lake. Many of the buildings there have that old school feel to them. For photography it’s pretty cool. I tried my best to isolate all the old and grungy stuff in the frame. Unfortunately you can see some of the more modern buildings in the background. I did my best to dull them out of the seen so they weren’t too noticeable.
