Fireworks at the Jupiter Lighthouse

Mar 5, 2010 | Jupiter, Landscapes & Scenery

Independence Day at the Jupiter Lighthouse, to bad this photograph was taken four days after the fourth of July. I admit I was more lucky with this shot than the last photograph of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Why? Because I only had one shot to make it count. Well, technically three since it is a high dynamic range photograph.

There was a total of four explosion which were all sporadic. After the 2 shot my photographer buddy Bruce and I decided to wait and photograph the third rocket that went off. After waiting 10 minutes we figured the show ended so we focused our attention on some lightning in the distance. Within seconds of us looking away the 3rd shot went off! So to make a long story short there was a total of 4 explosions. We waited another 10 minutes for the last one.
