Everyday Storefront – Prasat, Thailand

Mar 9, 2011 | Travel & Culture

The goal here was to take an ordinary shot of Thailand and turn it to something memorable. It can’t get any more ordinary than this, scooters that look like they shouldn’t be working, a store full of plumbing supplies and a home made wooden stool… the Coca-Cola machine was a bonus.

I used my Photoshop Action to put the finishing touches on this HDR photo. I then used Topaz Simplify to give it a little artistic affect and reduce some of the harsh bright contrasting areas. Finally I blended the opacity of that layer with the original layers to make it barely noticeable.
