Cigar Orchid from Everglades National Park Florida

Apr 25, 2012 | Floral Plants & Trees

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to go with some friend to the Everglades National Park. They took me through some amazing dense wetlands area, showing me a landscape that was beyond this world. To top it all off I was taken to this Wild Cigar Orchid, apparently the largest one in the country. I posted this photo in my last newsletter, but just realized that I didn’t have a link to a larger photo, so it is. Single exposure HDR image tone mapped in Photomatix and enhanced using Topaz plugins.
