It’s been very gloomy these past few days, not at all good for photography. I’m sure there are some die hards who would go out and shoot during this type of weather but I prefer to keep my camera dry. Needless to say I am processing some of my old photos until the sun comes out to play.
Here is the very first shot from yesterday during that epic sunset at the Lake Worth Lagoon. When I start a photo shoot with something like this, I get goose bump knowing it’s going to be a very good evening! It’s days like these that make up for all the other bad days.
Mangrove Island… that’s not it’s real name, but I call it Mangrove Island because it’s one large island of mangroves. A bunch of pelicans call this island home. Soon this island will be completely white because of all the pelican droppings. I’ll be sure to post that when I get it. Then I’ll call it Albino Mangrove Island.
I’m going to start my nine post marathon today with a bang. This was shot yesterday during sunset at Lake Worth Lagoon on Singer Island. I had my eye on this lone mangrove tree for awhile. I finally decided this week to camp this area until I got that shot and yesterday I finally got it.
