The beaches of Curacao is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited. Curacao’s beaches have a unique blend of Caribbean, tropical and desert landscapes. Each beach, or playa as the locals call it, offers something different. At one beach I saw nothing but coconut trees and sand, while at another there was nothing but coral rock and cactus!
Another interesting thing about this island is that it’s made up of coral, well at least the outer ridges. Looking closely at the coastline and cliffs, I didn’t see any rock, dirt or granite, it was all coral compacted tightly together.
I definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in visiting. Especially now for you northern folks freezing your butts off.
