Wild Turkey from Riverbend Park Jupiter

May 14, 2011 | Animals & Wildlife, Single Exposure HDR

This is, I think, the first time I’ve seen a wild turkey this close. Turkeys are extremely fast, considering how big they are, and trying to get close is next to impossible. But this time I came prepared, I had my mountain bike! Even with my bike I had a hard time catching up. I can see why these big birds make good game! That and because they’re yummy ;-)
