West Virginia Mountain Moon Rise

Nov 18, 2010 | Landscapes & Scenery, Moon and Lunar

After a long drive up what seemed to be one of the highest mountains in West Virginia, we ended up here. It’s kind of strange, that up this high, I had imagined we’ld be on some kind of peak. But on top of this mountain, I can’t recall the name, the land seems almost endless. We drove here hoping to photograph a good sunset, but that didn’t happen. Unfortunately for us a large layer of hazy clouds decided to block our view.  But looking to the opposite direction there was a beautiful Moon rise which ended up making for a better photograph. On a side note, I’m starting to put my signature back on my photos. Seems like my images are popping up all over the place.Software Used for Processing Photo:
