West Virgina Misty Morning Sunrise

Nov 21, 2010 | Landscapes & Scenery

I had my eye on this tree after driving passed it a few times while in West Virgina photographing fall colors with a couple of friends. It wasn’t until the last day, at least for me, that we were able to finally get this shot. We were heading to the train station early that morning so I could get to the airport. My train was leaving in 60 minutes so we didn’t have much time to shoot. I really didn’t want to stop because I didn’t want to miss my train ride. Plus all my camera gear was packed away. But after we pulled over and I saw this composition, that was it, I didn’t care about going home!
