I tried again this morning for another shoot at Lake Worth Lagoon. I didn’t have any hopes for a good shot. But you never know what the day will bring until you get there. It didn’t bring much! I got less than five minute of color as the sun peaked through the clouds. It was enough to salvage this mornings uneventful sunrise.
I must be getting old. I remember when I was younger I would get on these rides back to back now it makes me sick just watching these things spin around in circles. Photo taken at the South Florida Fair.
The Kapok Tree in Palm Beach Island next to the Flagler Museum can’ t be appreciated in a picture unless there’s someone standing next to it to show it’s enormous size.So here’s a shot of me standing on one of it’s roots.
My favorite tree in all of Palm Beach County is this Kapok Tree located next to the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach Island. There was enough lights to illuminate the tree very nicely considering it was nighttime. The moon added a little flare to the image as well. Two exposure HDR using Photomatix Pro.
This shot was from the day I got waist deep in water. See my new profile image. The funny part is I used a set of images that was taken later in the evening where I shot from dry land. This is 4 exposure panoramic, stitched in Photoshop, tone mapped in Photomatix and processed in Lightroom.
Another self portrait shot at the Flagler Museum overlooking the West Palm Beach Skyline. This one is a non HDR image with processing done in Photoshop and Lightroom.
Here’s an up close shot of the Royal Park Bridge during sunset. This is the same bridge with the pink lights for Breast Cancer Awareness. The county even put lights on the tower which don’t come on often. I think the tower works get annoyed by them lol.
Here I am thinking these pilings were only knee deep, as got closer it kept getting deeper. The sun was setting and I had no other foreground in sight. It was this, or miss the sunset, so I kept going and got the shot and one with me to remember.
Here’s a HDR panorama that I created from my shots yesterday morning at the Palm Beach Inlet of the Pump House.
Here’s my first HDR panorama shot of the West Palm Beach downtown city skyline. I didn’t think this pano was going to work out from the angle I was at, but it ended up pretty cool. This is a total of 12 exposures for 3 photos stitched in Photoshop. HDR image was tone mapped using Photomatix.
