I tried my luck again back at Lilypad Lake to see if I could get some clouds in the sky with the sun setting. It was an ok evening but I think I can do better.
Here’s the sunset that I posted from my mobile phone a few days ago on Facebook. I finally had some time to sit down to work on it.
Here’s another Brown Pelican shot from the marina in Jupiter, Florida. I slightly tone mapped this image using tone compressor for an extra color boost.
Video tutorial on how I tone map using Exposure Fusion in Photomatix Pro HDR Software for producing high dynamic range photo.
Photography is most definitely a good form of exercise. I got my heart racing to get this shot before the sun set.
I enjoy photographing lighthouses. Usually it takes me a few tries to get the perfect lighthouse photo for any lighthouse that I come across. However, with the Hillsboro Lighthouse, this was my first time there and I think I nailed it with this shot.
Here’s a photo taken with my old Canon PowerShot S90… the one that broke. I’ve since got a new one but haven’t used it to it’s fullest potential yet. I posted this photo because I’m always impressed by the color this camera is able to capture.
I’m going back a few weeks to process some left over images that I didn’t have time for. This one was taken during that beautiful sunset were I took a self portrait with some pilings.
Video tutorial covering Photomatix Pro 4.1 tone mapping using Tone Compressor for more realistic HDR images. I also demonstrate how to use Photoshop Elements and Lightroom to post process the photo.
