I am missing my Canon PowerShot S90. Ever since it took a nose dive and crashed on the rocks I’ve been feeling incomplete. Every serious photographer should have something similar for capturing those casual moments in life. This was one of those images.
Here was my first shot from this morning when I was at the Hillsboro Lighthouse in Pompano Beach, Florida. It ended being a amazing sunrise that was well worth the drive to photograph this historic lighthouse.
Went south today and photographed the Hillsboro Lighthouse for sunrise and capture this guy kite surfing out in the ocean with killer sun rays in the distance. This image is a single exposure tone mapped photo from Photomatix final post processing done in Photoshop and Lightroom.
Here’s a different view from Coral Cove that most people rarely see. It’s the moon rising over the coral rocks at night under the stars. Image tone mapped in Photomatix and processed in Photoshop and Lightroom.

This is so far my favorite HDR photo from Coral Cove Park. It has the best colors using 6 exposures for the full range of light while shooting directly into the sun.
The last timelaspes video that was taken with my Canon Powershot S90 before the wind blew it over and smashed it against the rocks.
