Sunset at Loxahatchee Slough Wetlands Area

Apr 25, 2011 | Sunrises & Sunsets, Wetlands & Everglades

Saturday evening I went with a group of friends down to the Loxahatchee Slough, a wetlands preserve area, maintained by Palm Beach County. I took us abot 30 minutes to hike to this spot for the sunset. I’ve been here once before… back then it had more water, however the foliage was all dead. Now the place is lush with healthy green plants, but the area is dried up! Go figure. It might not have been as perfect as I would have liked but the sunset came out as beautiful as I expected ;-)
