Sunset at Dyer Park Over Grassy Field Previously a Landfill

Mar 6, 2012 | Sunrises & Sunsets

I drove all around Palm Beach Gardens looking for a place to shoot the sunset and ended up at the garbage dump park, better known as Dyer Park. This is the only hill/mountain in Palm Beach County. I like to call it Mount Dump because it was previously a landfill before Palm beach County turned it into a park. It’s actually pretty cool for what it is, or use to be. This is probably the only place in Palm Beach County where you can find a field of grass this large. Note I didn’t bother Photoshopping out the smoke stack on the far left or the current landfill on the right. I left it there to show you how beautiful a dump could be.
