Sandhill Crane Park Foggy Morning

Feb 6, 2011 | Wetlands & Everglades

There’s something about foggy mornings that make images come to life. Though this morning wasn’t as foggy as I would have liked, there was enough mist in the air to make it magical. This HDR photo was shot early morning at Sandhill Crane Park, an area that I’ve been shooting a lot of lately. I’ve been working on adding to my Florida portfolio by literally jumping into the wetlands. So far I’ve been able to capture some beautiful images rarely seen by most Floridians. I can’t wait to start photographing these areas during more greener months. For now I have to settle for partially dead foliage, which I don’t mind since it does add a little character to my HDR photos.
