Photomatix Monday – Boat from Thailand

I’m starting the year off with something a little different. Every Monday I’ll be posting an HDR image created using only Photomatix. Then on Friday I’ll post the same HDR photo after putting the final touches using Photoshop and Topaz Plugins. I’m still not sure how I’ll be presenting this but I’ll keep adding info as long as it’s simple and easy enough to do.

So here’s the first photo, shot from Phuket, Thailand. From my understanding the vessel in the photo belongs to the police department. The boat doesn’t look big but if you use the truck to scale it than you can get a pretty good idea on the actual size. I guess that’s not bad for a police boat.

Software Used for Processing Photo:
Photomatix
– Used for creating high dynamic range.

Photography Style: High Dynamic Range
Digital Camera Used: Canon 5D Mark1
Lens Used: Canon 17-35mm f/2.8L USM
Photo Location: Phuket, Thailand

I’ll try to keep it as informative as possible, but like I said I need to figure out a method that’s easy for me to post and still informative to the readers.
