Photomatix Monday – Curacao Cactus Plant

Jan 31, 2011 | Travel & Culture

I am starting this Monday off with an HDR photo from Curacao. This shot is from the northern side of the island in Christoffel Park. In the photo there’s a cactus plant, one of many that can be found all over the island. It was actually one of the first things I noticed from the airplane during landing. I wasn’t expecting to travel to a desert island but Curacao had a interesting mix of desert, tropical and Caribbean landscapes.

This HDR photo was created using only Photomatix Pro and 3 exposures. Come back Friday to see the final HDR version after I finish putting the Captain Kimo touch using Photoshop.
