While driving from Las Vegas to Long Beach, California, I snapped this HDR shot of the Mojave National Preserve. This HDR photo was taken at a rest area off Highway 15. I plan on doing some shooting in Las Vegas but first I need to say hello to some old friends in Long Beach. I will also be doing some shooting with the Vero Beach photography group photographing the beautiful lights of the Las Vegas night life.

All kidding aside, beautiful shot! That’s a keeper. You have done well my young apprentice, you’ve come over to the "light" side! LOL
Light looks so different out there, doesn’t it? So crisp, colorful and CLEAR!
Great job!

Hi Kimo:
Your photography is great. In fact, your landscape scene with the Joshua tree in the foreground and snow covered mountains in the back is a picture I would love to use as a cover for my book “Little Known Tales in Nevada History” which I am now revising. I can’t offer you cash, but I can offer you credit for the photo. You can see the current version of my Nevada book on my web site, but it’s time to give the cover a little more class.
Please give me permission to use it.
Thank you Alton… I will contact you with the details for the photos.
